Abstract
The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has significantly transformed the education sector, particularly in enhancing the quality of learning at the senior high school level. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of AI-based learning media in improving students' conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and classroom engagement. A quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, dividing students into an experimental group using AI-based media and a control group employing conventional learning methods. Data were collected through concept comprehension tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and classroom engagement observations. The findings indicate that students utilizing AI-based learning media exhibited a significant improvement in conceptual understanding compared to the control group. Additionally, AI enhanced learning motivation by offering a more interactive and personalized learning experience. In terms of engagement, students in the experimental group participated more actively and explored learning materials more deeply than those using traditional methods. However, the implementation of AI technology in education still faces several challenges, such as school infrastructure readiness, teachers' digital literacy, and accessibility limitations in certain regions. This study recommends the development of educational policies that support the gradual integration of AI into the school curriculum, accompanied by teacher training programs and infrastructure improvements.
